Nic® 29 produces a tree that is approximately 30-35% of a standard seedling. Nic® 29 has a more developed root system than EMLA 9 and therefore, trees grown on Nic® 29 have more vitality than trees grown on EMLA 9. This rootstock requires support and is recommended for high-density orchards.
